The California Telehealth Network (CTN) will connect over 300 California healthcare providers in underserved areas to a state– and nation–wide broadband network dedicated to healthcare. CTN is funded by the Federal Communications Commission, the California Emerging Technology Fund, and UnitedHealth/PacifiCare.
Interested Healthcare Providers:
Take our online survey!
Letter of Agency needed from each potential participant
All healthcare facilities interested in participating in the CTN must submit a brief Letter of Agency (LOA), and brief eligibility information. Information about this process – including Instructions, Frequently Asked Questions, and the text for the LOA – are available here:
A list of healthcare facilities that have already submitted LOAs to the California Telehealth Network is available, and is updated daily. Updated List of Interested Healthcare Facilities.
A statewide "webinar" was held on June 23, 2008, to share information on the CTN and details on the Letter of Agency process. Slides from 6/23/08 CTN Webinar (pdf).
Online survey/readiness assessment, for interested healthcare providers: Although a preliminary list of potential eligible healthcare facilities was submitted in the original proposal to the FCC, participation in the network is open to all qualifying sites, and and — beyond the mandatory Letter of Agency (see above) — we encourage all interested healthcare facilities to complete this online survey. The survey — and further information about it — is available online: Survey and Information
We encourage all interested healthcare facilities to complete this survey as soon as possible, as the site sequencing process will begin in summer 2008.
