Christine Martin
Executive Director
Christine Martin is the Executive Director of the California Telemedicine & eHealth Center (CTEC), the federally designated Regional Telehealth Resource Center for California.
Ms. Martin has served as Executive Director of CTEC for the last three years. Ms. Martin has over 14 years experience developing telemedicine programs including 11 years developing and managing the operation of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Telemedicine Services Program, providing of 75,000 clinical telemedicine visits and developing a telemedicine provider service center.
Ms. Martin has over 30 years experience in health program administration. Ms. Martin served in a variety of management positions in her 27 year career with the State of California including Deputy Director of Strategic Development for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Health Care Division, Chief of Policy Planning for the California Department of Health Services, Chief of Planning for the California Child Health & Disability Prevention Program and Chief of Program Policy for the Denti-Cal Program. She served as Deputy Director of Program Operations for the South Carolina Health and Human Services Finance Commission. She began her career as Director of a Sacramento area Community Clinic now called The Effort.
Ms. Martin is active in community affairs, serving as the Chairperson of the Sacramento Area Regional Technology Alliance MedStart Telemedicine Task Force, Vice President of The Yoga Seed, and Board Member of Bread of Life. She was President of the Sacramento YWCA and Treasurer of La Familia Counseling Center.
Ms. Martin holds a Masters of Business Administration in Health
Services Management and a Bachelors of Science in Clinical
Laboratory Technology. She is also a certified Project Management
