In recognition of the evolving broadband marketplace reflecting the emergence of additional eligible California broadband providers since the initial RFP was released, this RFP seeks proposals from additional bidders to provide HCF funded broadband services for existing and new HCF participants with bids on either a statewide basis or within the provider’s regional footprint. Existing CTN HCF providers are not required to respond to this RFP and may continue to provide services under their existing HCF service agreements, which have the same technical and geographic requirements. Existing CTN HCF providers may choose to respond to update pricing or technical offerings and capabilities.
Responses to this RFP are due by 5:00 PM PDT on October 7, 2016. Please see requirements and instructions on preparation and submission of proposals in Section 1.4 of this document.
Respondents must provide evidence that they meet the following qualifications:
Minimum three years or more experience providing encrypted high speed broadband services to commercial, government or health care customers in California.
Insured for professional errors and omissions by a nationally recognized firm, as well as indemnity insurance for CTN in the event of damages caused by provider during installation or repair.
Ability to provide services throughout the State of California or within a defined service area within California. (Please define your service area)
Ability to provide customer support during expanded West Coast business hours, including holidays.
Note: The attached list of HCP’s are current CTN participants and have been included for reference purposes only. The purpose of the RFP is to select one or more service providers that can help expand the CTN footprint beyond those that are listed. Pricing should be prepared with expansion in mind.
