Participation with Broadband Service
CTN sites qualify for broadband services

In addition to receiving all the CTN participation benefits, CTN also offers a Broadband option to those sites in need of broadband services.

Originally funded through the FCC’s Rural Health Care Pilot Program, CTN is California’s authorized FCC broadband consortia for healthcare with priority access to the Healthcare Connect Fund for eligible California healthcare providers including: FQHC’s, Critical Access Hospitals, nonprofit rural and community health clinics, Native American health facilities and county or municipal health facilities.

CTN also provides a solution to assist for-profit healthcare providers who are not eligible for the Healthcare Connect Fund.

CTN provides a clearing house of broadband providers and subsidy funding options to support affordable, secure Telehealth and health information exchange activities.

CTN can find reduced rate broadband services to meet the needs of any healthcare provider including independent, non-profit and for-profit health care providers.
